About Riley Jordan
Whether climbing El Cap’s ‘Salathe’ or ‘The Nose’ in 36 hours, first descents skiing Kazakhstan’s Tian Shan mountain range, or long rock lines in Cochamo, Chile, Riley’s desire to push his limits and explore beautiful natural landscapes has led him around the world. This motivation started at a young age growing up in Mississippi where Riley rodeoed saddle bronc and bulls and played football. After graduating from Mississippi State, Riley pursued a landscape architecture career in Denver where the Rockies drew out his true calling as an outdoor industry professional. His adventures skiing and climbing in Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, China, Kazakhstan, and Krygyzstan have shaped his life in many ways but his heart is in Jackson, Wyoming with his young family. Riley is an AMGA certified Rock Guide and Apprentice Ski Guide and teaches avalanche education courses throughout the winter.
