Sharon Birchfield

Originally from Northern California, Sharon studied International Relations at college in Seattle and has called the beautiful Pacific Northwest home ever since. She discovered rock climbing and mountaineering through local mountaineering clubs and immediately fell in love with the lifestyle. She has climbed rock, snow and ice across the Western US from Canada to Mexico, South America and Europe. Sharon has guided in the North Cascades, Mt Hood, Smith Rock, Moab, Red Rocks, and Wyoming. Her current passion is chasing winter to extend her ski season as long as possible. She also enjoys wearing too much purple, riding bicycles, and blowing bubbles.
