Evan is a Colorado native with a deep appreciation for the mountains and wild places that have shaped his life. Before joining The Mountain Guides, he worked as an outdoor educator and guide for several organizations across Colorado, and spent his winters operating a snowcat in the high country. He is currently pursuing certification through the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) with the goal of becoming a full-time mountain guide throughout Colorado's Front Range and beyond.
Evan earned a degree in Parks, Tourism, and Recreation Management from the University of Montana, where he developed a strong foundation in outdoor leadership and conservation. When he's not guiding, you'll likely find him climbing in Eldorado Canyon or Rocky Mountain National Park, backcountry snowboarding, or picking tunes on his banjo.
Evan's trusted adventure companion is Otis, his 120-pound bloodhound and training partner. Together, they are members of Front Range Rescue Dogs, where they train for wilderness search and rescue. Evan is proud to be part of The Mountain Guides family and looks forward to sharing meaningful mountain experiences with every guest.
