Kelsey Rex
Wyoming
Kelsey fell in love with the therapeutic aspects of climbing shortly after returning to her home state of Maine following service in the US Peace Corps. She eventually moved to the White Mountains of New Hampshire to pursue a life closer to the mountains, becoming especially fond of the beauty of alpine winter climbing, the grounding feeling of touching granite and the excitement of technical mountain running. Over the years, Kelsey has climbed alpine rock and ice all over North America, with her favorite areas being the Teton Range and the Alaska Range.
Currently, she works as a full-time rock, ice and alpine climbing guide for Jackson Hole Mountain Guides in the summers and Cathedral Mountain Guides of NH in the winters. Kelsey is an interdisciplinary mountain athlete proudly supported by La Sportiva and Blue Ice and a member of the Mountain Rescue Service climbing team of New Hampshire when in the Northeast.
