About Patrick Collins
Patrick grew up in New England and fostered a passion for skiing and snowboarding via trips to New Hampshire and Vermont. After finishing college in Boston, Patrick headed west in search of a life spent exploring the great outdoors. His guiding career began in 2011 as a white water river guide based out of Tahoe, California. Patrick’s passion for splitboarding eventually landed him in Jackson, WY, making the Tetons home. His thirst for exploration on his splitboard has brought him all over the Western US, British Columbia, Alaska, and Chile. During the summer months you can find him running Teton Backcountry Rentals, a local outfitter where he serves as owner/operator. When he’s not helping people to prepare for their summer adventures, you can find him rock climbing, packrafting, and trail running around Jackson Hole. Whether you are looking to improve your backcountry touring skills and mountain sense, or you want to take your Avalanche Education to the next level, Patrick is excited to be involved and share his backyard with you!
