Nathan Sandidge

The experience of making it to the summit of Long’s Peak is one I’ll remember for the rest of my life and I couldn’t have done it without my guide Nathan.

Although I was able to prepare physically as much as I could have (at least for a flatlander), the route was one I doubt I could have completed by myself. I probably would not have made it far past the Keyhole had I attempted the climb without a guide. But luckilyNathan was there to provide the knowledge and experience I needed to make the adventure both safe and enjoyable. He provided advice when it was warranted, encouragement when it was needed, and assistance when it was necessary. I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to share the adventure with someone whose company I truly enjoyed. He was a great companion for the twelve hours we spent together and several fellow climbers made use of his know-how as well.
