Selena Pang

Selena started climbing in 90's in California where she fell in love with the wild landscapes, quirky people, rock craft and memorable adventures. She has seen the sport evolve from a small, tight knit community to the Olympic event it is today. Selena’s path to guiding has been a winding road from route setting in L.A., climbing instruction in Austin, to Red Rock where she is currently based. As a mature female climber of color and an empty-nested single mother, she is intimately aware of the issues around barriers to entry and looks forward to continual involvement educating, empowering and making the outdoors an inclusive space.
