JHMG teams up with Momentum Indoor Climbing to go cragging at the City of Rocks

If you live in Salt Lake City and you like to climb, then you are familiar with Momentum Indoor Climbing.  With two locations in the area, these spectacular facilities are home to some seriously strong climbers.  But the point is to train and get strong so we can enjoy climbing on real rock.  Jackson Hole Mountain Guides has teamed up with Momentum to do just that at the beautiful City of Rocks, ID.  Just 3 hours from Salt Lake City, lies some of the most fantastic granite crags this planet has to offer. On July 18th and 19th, Momentum members will have an opportunity to explore this unbelievable place, with the help of AMGA certified guides that know every inch of the City.  “People are busy, we want them to spend their weekend climbing, learn some outdoor climbing techniques and not spend their weekend with their head in a guidebook.” says JHMG Senior Guide Aimee Barnes.  Guides will be on hand to teach anchor building, movement, placement/removing and rappelling.
