JHMG is a stellar outfit. These guys know what they’re doing and bring a level of passion to the job that’s contagious. Our trip had unfortunate weather, so we didn’t get to accomplish the goals we’d set… but JHMG made the best of it for us. I would head out with these folks any day and really couldn’t have asked for a better group to guide the trip.

Our trip had unfortunate weather, so we didn’t get to accomplish the goals we’d set… but JHMG made the best of it for us. I would head out with these folks any day and really couldn’t have asked for a better group to guide the trip.
JHMG offers an incredible four day climb of the Grand Teton that is great for people who don’t have experience climbing or those who just want to move at a more leisurely pace! Spending three nights at high camp is an amazing opportunity, and it was incredible to spend so much time at a high elevation. The views from camp are spectacular, and the amenities offered make camping at 11,000 ft as comfortable as possible. All of the guides are extremely helpful and friendly, and their first priority is safety. Once you learn to trust that the ropes will hold you, hanging off a cliff doesn’t seem so scary! The Grand Teton is considered a fairly easy mountain for experienced climbers, but the technical work involved was much more difficult than I anticipated. Thanks to our great guides, their constant encouragement, and their excellent instruction, I was able to do it! The four day trip with JHMG is a great experience for people looking to spend time outside, push their mental and physical limits, and see some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world! →
