About Nickel Wood
Nickel hails from the Bluegrass State where he lives in Lexington with his partner Cara and two daughters Rubye (dog) and Miriam (cat). Nickel has three brothers and went to Transylvania University graduating in 2006 after studying Religion and History. Nickel started guiding and climbing in 2007 in SE AK. Nickel has worked on skis, ice, rock, glaciers, and at altitudes up to 23k. Nickel has also worked in the wilderness therapy industry in VT. Graduating in March from the 2nd round of yoga teacher training (RYT-500), Nickel also spends time studying Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong.
