About Laura Gaylord
Laura will tell you that much of who she is today has been shaped by meaningful moments in the mountains. From her roots in the Adirondacks of Upstate New York to the Elk Mountains of Colorado, she now, after many years, calls the Tetons “home”. Laura is a natural-born educator and is driven by helping others develop their own mountain prowess. This is made clear through her work as a youth outdoor educator, AIARE instructor, and patient guide. Enthusiastic about fun of all types (with a disposition towards the type 1 variety) she has had more “best days ever” playing outside than she can count. When she’s not in the mountains, you can probably find Laura on the river gazing up at them.
