Josh grew up with climbing shoes on his feet from the age of three. His dad was an avid climber that learned to climb in the Wichita mountains of Oklahoma. Josh has recreationally ticked off many climbs around Colorado’s front range, throughout the Midwest, and some larger peaks throughout the rest of the Western US. He has spent time guiding snowmobile tours in Montana which eventually led to him stepping into the rock climbing world professionally.
