We are pleased to announce that we have updated the AIARE Avalanche Course schedule for next winter as well as our Teton Tune-Up Clinics. We recently transitioned from winter to summer here in the Tetons but we are already looking ahead at the next winter season and very excited to offer and extensive schedule to accommodate everyone from including new and returning guests.

We have posted the dates and pricing for all the AIARE Level 1 and Level 2 programs that we will be running and have made the booking process as simple as possible. Anyone can “Book Now” for the program and date of their choice directly through the website. We highly encourage folks to start looking ahead as we run all of our courses at a 6:1 ratio with a maximum of 12 students and these small and intimate classes fill quickly!

We will also be running our popular Teton Tune-Up Clinics every Wednesday and Saturday this upcoming winter. These one-day clinics will get people out on a classic backcountry tour in Grand Teton National Park either as a private trip or in a group setting. We cover and refresh avalanche safety, backcountry touring skills and overall risk management in the winter environment all while completing a classic tour in the high alpine of the Tetons.

Here are just a few reasons to think about taking a winter avalanche safety or backcountry touring course with us:

  • We have some of the most experienced winter guides in the Tetons that have extensive knowledge of the terrain and consistently keep up to date with day to day conditions
  • Our guides and instructors are all involved with AIARE and the AMGA organizations and stay up to date and with current certifications, knowledge and techniques for avalanche safety, mountain travel and best practices for risk management
  • We run low ratio trips and courses to better involve the guest or student and meet their personal goals and needs for winter mountain travel

Take a look at the new schedule, plan ahead for next winter and enjoy all the benefits and experiences that Jackson Hole Mountain Guides offers!
