Rock Climbing in Montana — Guided Climbing Near Glacier National Park
Guided Rock Climbing in Whitefish
Northwest Montana’s climbing scene is one of the region’s best-kept secrets. Based in Whitefish — just 30 miles from Glacier National Park — The Mountain Guides Montana offers private guided rock climbing trips on uncrowded crags in the Stillwater Canyon, Koocanusa Reservoir, and Stone Hill areas. The climbing is on excellent quartzite and argillite in peaceful forest settings along mountain streams. It’s the opposite of a crowded destination crag — expect to have the cliff to yourself.
