Our AMGA-accredited guides offer guided rock climbing, desert summit hikes, wilderness medicine certifications, and women’s climbing clinics on Red Rock’s spectacular Aztec sandstone. Whether you’re a first-time climber visiting Las Vegas, an experienced leader looking for a desert project, or a backcountry professional earning your WFR certification, our Nevada programs have you covered.

What We Offer at Red Rock

Rock Climbing: Half-day and full-day private guided climbs on sandstone from 5.4 to 5.14, plus a structured Learn to Climb course for complete beginners. All gear provided.

Red Rock Summit Experience: Guided desert summit hikes to Juniper Peak, Whiskey Peak, Cactus Flower Tower, and Mt. Wilson. No climbing experience required.

Women’s Climbing Weekend: A two-day clinic for women and non-binary climbers, led by female AMGA-certified guides. Part of TMG’s Women’s Network Climbing Series.

Wilderness Medicine: WFR and WFA certifications and recertifications in partnership with Wilderness Medical Associates. Train in a real desert backcountry setting.

Season & Getting Here

Red Rock’s primary season runs October through April — the reverse of most mountain destinations. Fly into Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) and you can be climbing by afternoon. Our Red Rock office is an easy 30-minute drive from the Strip.
