30 minutes from downtown Las Vegas, splendid multi-hued sandstone crags, beautiful canyons, and lofty summits provide an ideal environment for your climbing experience. We are pleased to offer a full range of guiding services in the Red Rock, from easy and enjoyable single-pitch climbs to the most challenging multi-day big wall ascents, and everything in between.

8 Hours, ~4-6 Pitches, ~700 Feet
This is an 8 hour day of multi-pitch climbing, whether a series of short routes or a moderately long multi-pitch climb. Routes are chosen based on your ability and goals and can range from 5.3 and up. Prior climbing experience or prerequisite classes is required.
10 Hours, ~7-10 Pitches, ~1100 Feet
This is a full day of climbing up to 10 hours. Routes climbed can be of a more challenging nature range from 5.6 and up. Your guide will evaluate your experience and suggest routes appropriate to meet your goals. Prior climbing experience or prerequisite classes is required.
12 Hours, ~11+ Pitches, ~1200+ Feet, Speciality Climbs & Hard Free Routes
Start early, climb high and end late! Grade IV+ and Grade V climbs up to 12 hours and 11 or more pitches or hard free routes and speciality climbs. Routes like Epinephrine, Mt. Wilson, Cloud Tower, and the Rainbow Wall. Experienced climbers only. 12+ Hours: Level 3 rate + $60 per additional hour.

Our guides will coordinate the ideal rock climbing experience based on your family’s ability level and prior training. Previous family clients have found rock climbing to be a great way to improve communication and create trust between members.
Children as young as five have had great experiences in our basic climbing classes. Parents/guardians should accompany children up to the age of ten.

Previous rock climbing experience is not necessary. In fact, our clients discover employees with no climbing experience become so motivated they feel they can take on the world!
An inspiring day set in the beautiful sandstone canyons of Red Rocks, your team will learn skills to succeed in every aspect of life. Challenged by climbing a variety of routes, participants will exercise problem-solving skills, understand the importance of strong communication skills, calculate risk and make decisions with confidence and learn to trust their belayer while being encouraged by their peers. Rock climbing is a great challenge and confidence builder for individuals and groups. Perfect for scout programs, youth groups, women’s clubs and senior groups, climbing is great cross training for other sports such as gymnastics and soccer. The Mountain Guides (TMG) coordinates programs that are full of fun and adventure, teaching valuable communication, trust and decision-making skills while offering a great workout for people of all ages and ability levels.
We can model your program after one our Classes or Camps, with special consideration for your group’s needs. This is a great option for those that haven’t done a multi pitch climb and are eager to learn or for those that would like to sample our world class sport climbing and multi pitch climbing in the same day!
Come enjoy a full day in the beautiful weather of the Mojave desert. You will get to sample some of the hyper classic single pitch routes the Red Rock has to offer. All of our trips also involve plenty of instruction on safety systems, movement, and technical skills. This trip is a perfect fit for those that have limited outdoor climbing experience or those looking to push the grade.

While Red Rock is located in a desert, depending on the season, we see big variations in temperature. With this in mind it is important to be prepared for a variety of conditions, keeping in mind that in some cases we will be up to 2+ hours from the trailhead.
The Mountain Guides can provide any personal climbing gear (helmet, harness, climbing shoes, belay devices, PAS, etc.) at no additional cost, though if you have your own, you are encouraged to bring it (especially climbing shoes). We will supply all ropes & protection (cams, quickdraws, slings, etc.).

Considerations
- Warm Weather (April - October): The sun is itense and hydration is vital! Stary hydrating the night before. Consider freezing your water bottles or putting ice in them. Light colored and loose fitting clothes will help keep you cool.
- Cold Weather (November - March): Bring gloves and a warm hat that will fit under your helmet. Bring extra layers like long underwear and a heavier winter jacket to keep warm when the sun ducks behind clouds of dips below the canyon walls.

We typically meet at the Vista Commons shopping plaza in Summerlin, about 25 minutes drive from the Las Vegas Strip. There is a coffee shop, grocery store, gas station, restaurants, and more available at the plaza.
A wide range of lodging options can be found from the hustle and bustle of The Strip, on the edge of town closer to Red Rock in Summerlin, or even camping in the desert 10 minutes outside of town at the Red Rock Canyon Campground. We're happy to send lodging recommendations.
Harry Reid International Airport is about 20 minutes away and provides quick access to Red Rock.
