CONSIDERATIONS
Montana Weather – It can be sunny one moment and raining the next or both at the same time. Mornings and evening are cold and daytime is hot. Bring layers for everything. We live in a dry climate and our bodies need water, hydrate the night before your climb/ hike and be sure to bring more with you. Consider freezing your water bottles or putting ice in them. Light-colored and loose-fitting clothes will help keep you cool. For your safety and comfort, bring synthetic and or natural fiber clothing for insulation. Cotton is NOT recommended and down must be kept dry. Clothing should be able to layer without encumbering your movement.
The Mountain Guides Montana is based in Whitefish, Montana in the beautiful Flathead Valley near to Glacier National Park. Our venues for rock climbing vary depending on the group and the weather. We will provide your location to you 3 days prior to the trip with detailed directions.
