Itinerary
This is a fun day of climbing, to get you out and experience one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Our intro to climbing trips are designed for those you are interested in a new adventure and want to learn the basics. Our guides will provide you with a strong foundation of understanding in knots, belaying and principles of rock climbing. Our goal is to create a space for you to learn and feel comfortable while challenging yourself and exploring the vertical world.
It can be difficult to please everyone on a family vacation, but The Mountain Guides Montana has a solution. Spend the half-day or full day in the quiet corners of Montana on a rock climbing family adventure.
Our guides will coordinate the ideal rock climbing experience based on your family’s abilities and climbing history. Previous family clients have found rock climbing to be a great way to accommodate everyone while having fun, improving communication and creating trust between members. We are able to accommodate climbers ages 5 and up and we ask that parents or guardians accompany anyone under the age of 12.
Come out and enjoy a half day of guided climbing in Northwest Montana. Our half-day trips are designed for beginners, families and experienced climbers alike. If you are interested in experiencing the best rock in the Flathead Valley, we will custom-design our itinerary for your group and create meaningful objectives for the day. These trips begin at 8:30am and 1:00pm. When booking, please be sure to book the time slot you are interested in.
Our single pitch workshops are designed to help recreational climbers take their skills to the next level. The half day workshops are focused on more skill building and less climbing. We work with clients to determine the exact curriculum depending on personal goals and objectives. Common areas of focus are anchor building, Intro to sport lead climbing and Intro to traditional lead climbing.
