Looking to get out for a casual morning of climbing? Our half-day fun climb will give you a taste of climbing in the vertical. This class takes place in Eldorado Canyon SP and involves a half-day of as much climbing as you can manage.
Our class is targeted at beginner climbers, and we know that there are a number of different reasons people want to take their first class. Our guides work with you to provide you with the best day based on your goals and needs. We take great pleasure in providing our guests with a high quality first climbing class (or a refresher!). This class can also be used to prepare individuals for our intermediate class. This is a full-day class.
So – you’ve been bit by the climbing bug. Jackson Hole Mountain Guides offers an intermediate class for the next step. In this class, we focus on skills need for multi-pitch climbing including lead belaying, rope management, protection removal, anchors and rappelling. Perfect for climbers with top-rope climbing experience whether indoor or outdoor looking to take their climbing to the next level. This class can be used to prepare individuals for longer multi-pitch climbs in Eldorado Canyon or Rocky Mountain National Park. This is a full-day class.
Designed for the experienced climber, these courses may be used to prepare students for independent multi-pitch climbing, teach techniques/tactics for difficult routes, and coach advanced climbing movement. In this class, the curriculum could be separated into the following topics: multi-pitch climbing topics, introduction to lead climbing, improvised self-rescue, aid climbing topics, alpine climbing concepts, and coaching. This is a full-day class
Kids love to monkey around, and this class gets them climbing and helps them learn some valuable skills and lessons on the way. The convenience of Boulder’s climbing areas makes this class a great offering. Our enthusiasm for getting kids on the rock will make for an incredibly fun and rewarding outing for kids and their parents. This half-day class is intended for children 12 and under, with a parent.
